Explore Morrison

Although modest in size, the town of Morrison is rich in history and natural wonders like Dinosaur Ridge, the LoDaiska Site, Red Rocks Park and Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway. What began as a natural stopover for those heading to the mines of South Park, turned into a bustling community in which many of the original storefronts and homes have been preserved. Like those who came before them, modern day pioneers, like Stanley Harwood, have helped keep Morrison moving forward through further development. Harwood’s vision for a neighborhood built around an 18-hole golf course came to fruition with community support, and the luxury development now called Willow Springs and Red Rocks Country Club was born. The golf course has since been redesigned in an effort to make it more challenging and scenic as it meanders through the stunning red rocks.

Willow Springs

An exclusive, luxury golf community committed to nature and an active lifestyle. Boasting an 800 acre mountain park dedicated to its homeowners and members of Red Rocks Country Club for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, camping or just walking Fido. Another unique outdoor amenity that is offered to its homeowners and club members, is exclusive access to Kingfisher Lake where Perch, Trout and Blue Gill are stocked every year for their fishing enjoyment. Various clubs are also available to encourage its residents to get outside and enjoy the unparalleled beauty that surrounds them. This one-of-a-kind community is nothing short of visionary.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is famous for its breathtaking views and mind-blowing concerts set against a large, ancient red sandstone outcrop backdrop. These old giants were formed roughly 290-296 million years ago and are situated in a transitional zone where the Great Plains meet the Rockies. The unique geography and location fosters a diverse environment where visitors can enjoy plants, birds and animals of both regions. With a wide range of recreational options in this 868 acre park, sightseers, family picnickers, nature lovers and exercise enthusiasts can each enjoy discovering their own secret corner of this majestic park. If these rocks could talk.
