Explore Conifer/Pine

Conifer and Pine are small, adjacent, unincorporated communities in Jefferson County located off of 285 in the foothills west of Denver. These communities are unique in that they don’t have one central downtown area, rather there are several “town center” shopping areas that provide all the modern conveniences you could need. Conifer/Pine offers the slower pace of mountain life with friendly neighbors, expansive views, and abundant wildlife, all within an arm’s reach of bustling Denver.

Business Feature: Bucksnort Saloon

If you’re looking for an experience look no further than the Bucksnort Saloon. It is a unique and eclectic mountain saloon surrounded by a giant rock outcropping, year round stream and mountain cabins. Don’t go expecting white glove service, however. This is a genuine dive that has been through it. Walls are covered in “bucks” that have been drawn on by customers and stapled to the walls, taxidermy is falling apart, service is slow and the experience is stellar. There is nothing like this eclectic, little, mountain oasis. So take a beautiful drive, relax and have a beer. Somehow, they taste better here.
